Westpac technology creates impressive customer experience for all

Westpac branches throughout New Zealand are embracing unique technology to provide a retail television network to its customers, including interactive touch screens and children's television programming from the home-grown series, the WotWots.

New Zealand-founded company eyemagnet Limited is supplying Westpac's Retail Television service (screen and audio experiences).

eyemagnet technology provides a scalable, interactive, television network, delivered and managed via the web. The network enables Westpac to deliver interactive touch and social TV applications, Multi cast IPTV to video walls, kiosks, integrated broadcast television and audio content to branches.

eyemagnet operates the largest retail television networks in New Zealand. The company has also expanded to Silicon Valley and deliver their total mobile interactive venue experience to US customers.

Embracing creativity and innovation, particularly in a New Zealand context, eyemagnet has also teamed up with Pukeko Pictures, a business partnership between Academy Award winner Richard Taylor the co-founder and creative lead of Weta Workshop, as well as internationally acclaimed author and children's television creator, Martin Baynton.

Pukeko Pictures has created the enchanting pre-school series, the WotWots, which follow the adventures of siblings from outer space, SpottyWot and DottyWot.

The benefit to Westpac customers is that eyemagnet's agreement with Pukeko Pictures enables them to jointly provide the WotWots to branches for display on their retail television children's channel. The locally developed content was chosen for its relevance to New Zealand children when visiting a Westpac branch.
